You too can convert any stick-shift compact car from an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle that uses gasoline to a NICE (No Internal Combustion Engine) all electric EV in your home garage! The night class is designed for the absolute beginner or novice in mind. It will guide you in creating a reliable, pollution-free commuter electric car for daily use.
We will be using the textbook 'Convert It' by Michael P. Brown which describes how a DIY home hobbyist can go from a gas to an electric powered car. During the eight day night course you will study the basic electric car systems and procedures needed for electric conversions.
Sign up and overcome your fear of the conversion process with patient and (mostly), gentle, hands-on instruction. Specific electric car classroom presentation will be offered via exquisite power point presentations to be immediately followed by hands on shop demonstrations.
The workshop fee is $400 for the eight night course. Class begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. A limited number of slots are available. Location is:
