KICK GAS CO-OP YEAR END REPORT by Mr.Q

Wow, EVAOSD ! It's hard to believe, but the Kick Gas Co-Op / Club will be celebrating its first year anniversary at the end August. Of course we will party! Additionally, yes of course you are invited, details coming later this month, but first to business: As you may or may not be aware, the Co-Op has been able to keep the rent paid and its doors open by offering EV conversion workshops for a modest fee. This past year we've had close to fifty (50) participants enroll in the EV workshops we offered. The Co-Op also received volunteer monetary donations from many of its principal organizers and supporters. Another venture we embarked upon was our Saturday Work-a-Day program in which the Co-Op Club-Kateers met to work on EV's every Saturday of the month. Although the Work-a-Day's did not generate any money, they turned out to be a great deal of fun for EVeryone involved! The Work-a-Days drew many new people as we kicked gas too and have a blast too! We also allowed time each Saturday to brainstorm on the Co-Op's need to stabilize it's income sources. With a steady cash flow assured we can concentrate on the work at hand, this primarily includes; teaching the conversion process, recruiting Co-Op Club Kateers, and working on our EV's. As you can image, this takes a great deal of time, energy and money, all of which is on a 100% volunteer basis. We are self funded and free to implement programs we collectively decided upon with no strings attached and we want to keep it this way! As a results of our most recent brainstorming session, the Co-OpKateers decided to start a Co-Op pledge fund raising campaign in which three levels of donor pledges were identified:

(1) Buck it Scribe - a buck a day @ 30 bucks a month
(2) Lord or Lady @ $50 bucks a month
(3) Dragon Slayer @ $100 bucks a month

The idea behind the monthly pledges is to solicit funds from people who know, understand and believe in the work the Co-Op ClubKateer's are doing. Many have contributed materials and in kind services toward Kick Gas Co-Op goals in one way or another this past year. However, the Co-Op needs actual money too, not only for the rent but also for MSS, that's (Miscellaneous Shop Supplies) all of which need constant replacement, hand soap, towels, fasteners, tools etc. etc. In the future we plan to continue offering the EV conversion workshops for a fee and if you are able and willing to help the Co-Op with a monthly money pledge we will be most grateful. Additionally, a smaller and or larger donation will also be welcome. In closing, I want to thank you again for all your support and encouragement this past year and I hope to see you at the end of year party. Yours for clean air and blue sky's Everywhere.
